Jessica is a skilled litigator with over 20 years of experience in the courtroom. She chooses to represent cases she feels she can best utilize her skill set and interests, which can vary from criminal defense, to complex divorce matters, to products liability or other forms of personal injury claims. When she takes on a client, she dedicates herself to their cause, and pursues diligently their needs and interests. She has been interviewed by Senior Editor of NBC, and multiple contributors to NewsNation and writers/journalists for the Idaho Statesman.

As a skilled litigator with more than twenty years of courtroom litigation experience, Jessica has tried numerous cases in both State and Federal Courts. Additionally, she has conducted hundreds of hearings in front of Administrative Law Judges. She is known for her abilities to cross-examine both experts and lay witnesses effectively, and her skill in the courtroom often leads to good settlement negotiations as well. She has a background in cases involving medical impairments, such as injuries/accidents as well as disease and ailments. She has an extensive knowledge of how disease or injury can impact our daily lives, ability to work, and relationships. Prior to her work as a lawyer, she worked for an insurance company as a claims adjuster, so she is familiar with the processes of analysis and methods used by defendants in accident and injury cases.

Jessica has also successfully handled complex divorce cases, such as those involving corporate valuation matters or complex custody issues. She often handles cases that are in need of potential litigation or mediation, as opposed to those which are expected to resolve easily.

Prior to her career as an attorney, Jessica worked at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston for several years. Throughout her many years of legal experience, she has maintained an interest in the role that mental and physical conditions play in human behavior. She also worked for a period of time as a claims adjuster for an insurance company, which also inspired her desire to help others who needed assistance with favorable settlement claims.

Before founding her practice, Jessica was a mental health Court Attorney for Ada County, an Assistant Attorney General in Alaska, and a city prosecutor, giving her a unique understanding of the criminal process.
